Nigeria Power Management Service Bureau recently announced that in the future to ensure a safe, stable, reliable power supply and to protect people's lives and property, is requested from the National Electrical Contractors & Dealers prohibit the use of the following eight electrical materials and equipment:
1. untreated wood poles,
2. Untreated wood line Tam,
3. Non-galvanized pipe/angle iron,
4. Non-galvanized steel support plate,
5. Non-galvanized bolts and nuts,
6. easy to crack conductors and cables,
7. The small size of conductors and cables,
8. counterfeit copper and aluminum cables
Nigeria Power Management Service said that the eight electrical materials are often likely to cause a sudden collapse of the distribution network, especially easy to crack counterfeit cables and cable products easier to limit the current carrying capacity, and pose a threat to life and property.
