State Grid invests tens of billions in overseas high voltage cable

Currently, the national grid has been successfully operating a backbone energy network in Brazil, Portugal, Australia, Italy, Philippines.

China Hongkong and other countries and regions, foreign assets reached $29800000000. So far, the foreign investment from National is up to hundreds of Billions.

China's first UHV technology project is in the mountains of Brazil

It is reported that the project was successfully obtained by the China State Grid Corp and the Brazil national power company (which China accounts for 51% of shares) in February of 2014.

It Is expected to be built in 2084 km + 800kV high voltage cable transmission lines and converter stations at both ends at the end of 2017. 

The national power grid has become the fourth largest transmission operator in Brazil, and the total mileage of the transport line has reached about 6700 km.

At present, the national power grid and the surrounding countries have built 18 interconnected power transmission lines.

And actively carry out power energy cooperation with Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, and other neighboring countries to accelerate the planning and construction of the UHV networking project. 

Is expected to achieve the basic realization of the interconnection of the national grid between the neighboring countries in 2025.

Among them, the State Grid and Kazakhstan Samuluke card Zehner Sovereign Wealth Fund Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement and agreed to jointly promote the grid interconnection.

And actively study the use of China's UHV technology to achieve the goal of tranport power to China and other countries.
